With two homes all ready to welcome happy families, Redrow is holding a special event in Crewe to let people know how to make a move the easy way.

The award-winning housebuilder’s Mastermove scheme could help homeowners sell up and move on quickly and without fuss, avoiding any lengthy chains.

And to explain how the scheme works, Redrow is hosting an event at its College Green venture over the weekend of September 13 / 14.

Visitors will be able to take a look around the professionally designed and decorated ‘Shrewsbury’ and ‘Oxford’ style homes and speak to experts about how they could be moving into a new home as soon as this autumn.

Customers who sign up for Mastermove will have their property valued and, once a selling price is agreed, Redrow instructs a local estate agent and online agent to market the property on their behalf. Crucially, the housebuilder keeps in regular contact with all parties to ensure the sales process runs quickly and smoothly and they will even pay the estate agent’s fees.

A particularly quick move is possible because two of the properties, a ‘Cambridge’, priced at £249,995 and a ‘Stratford’, priced £234,995 are all ready to move into.

Both properties boast four-bedrooms, an open plan kitchen and dining room, separate lounge, plus master bedroom with en-suite.

The stylish, family-friendly kitchens in all the homes at College Green are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, while bathrooms and en-suites boast white suites, chrome taps and exquisite tiling.

Current availability at College Green ranges from the three-bedroom detached ‘Warwick’ at £199,995 up to the ‘Cambridge’. All of the homes are priced below the £250,000 stamp duty threshold.

At the event, buyers will also be able to find out more information about Help to Buy, which is aimed both at first-time buyers and those trading up who may be lacking equity or a substantial deposit.

The scheme allows purchasers to secure their home with just a 5% deposit. The remaining costs are covered by a 20% equity loan from the Government, that’s interest free for five years, and a 75% mortgage from a lender of choice.

At the heart of the rail network, Crewe offers good links to Liverpool and Manchester which are both under 40 minutes away, while Chester can be reached in just over 20 minutes. The M6 is also easily accessible making car journeys convenient too.

The town is well served by shopping centres, retail parks and leisure amenities, with Queen’s Park golf course and Crewe Swimming Pool both only a short distance from College Green. The latter includes a fitness suite and sauna. There’s also a good choice of schools close by.

The Mastermove event will be held over the weekend of September 13 /14 between 11am and 4pm.

Situated off Dane Bank Avenue, College Green is open to visitors from 10am until 5.30pm Thursday to Sunday and from 11am until 5.30pm on Monday. Alternatively, visit redrow.co.uk/collegegreen.
