First homes sold from plan at Market Weighton development in East Yorkshire
Linden Homes North is celebrating early sales at its new East Yorkshire development – with almost a third of the first releases being snapped up from the drawing board.
Just a few weeks into its launch, the Bradley Meadow development at Market Weighton has seen a number of savvy home-hunters reserving their preferred property fresh from the drawing board.
A selection of 10 three and four-bedroom homes are the first of the 98 planned homes to be released for sale at the development, which has been named in memory of the 7ft 9 inch tall ‘Yorkshire Giant’ William Bradley.
There will be plenty of design choice for everyone from first time buyers, young professionals, families or those looking to downsize.
The first of the new homes are due for completion in early 2015. It is expected that award-winning Linden Homes will have a presence at the location for at least the next three years.
Linden Homes North sales director Steve Woomble said: “Given the early success and the ‘buy off plan’ trend at our recent new developments, it has been no surprise that discerning home hunters have already started reserving from plan at Market Weighton.

The town, with its long history dating back 750 years, is perfectly positioned between the bustling centres of Beverley and York.
The local area also offers excellent educational and recreational facilities and boasts its own eclectic history, including being the hometown of William Bradley.
William died aged 33 in 1820, and was buried inside the church. His house still stands on Market Hill and the A1079 road, which passes Market Weighton, is named Giant Bradley Way. The town boasts its own monument to him and his chair still has pride of place in the local pub.
Current prices range from £179,950 to £279,950 and although there is currently no show home or sales and marketing suite open at the development – the Linden Homes sales team has a presence at estate agents Chris Clubley & Co at 62 - 64 Market Place in Market Weighton.
