Daylighting has been touted for its many aesthetic and health benefits by designers and researchers alike. Our love of daylight is something that Bellway has taken to heart at The Covers in Wallsend, where it is selling a range of contemporary designed homes which all boast increased glazing.

A glimpse inside the two recently opened show homes illustrates the phenomenon of increased daylight immediately.

Sales Director at Bellway, Rob Armstrong, said: “Good lighting enhances the mood and contributes to a sense of well-being. Our new Laurel and Willow show homes have been carefully designed and decorated to create a relaxing and desirable living environment. The benefits of increased daylight are immediately evident and is something that is favoured by all of our visitors.”

Situated on Kings Road South in Wallsend, buyers at The Covers have a choice of three and four bedroom detached homes that start in price from £202,995.

The new Laurel show homes offers 1,079 sq ft of living space, the ground floor provides a large living room measuring 16’ 6” x 12’ 5”, the spacious modern kitchen and dining area measures 20’ x 11’ 10” and includes a built in oven, hob and cooker hood, there is also access to the rear garden via French doors.

Upstairs there is a family bathroom and four good size bedrooms with the principal bedroom benefiting from ensuite facilities. Externally there is a single garage.

The new Willow show home provides 946 sq ft of living space. The entrance hall leads to an open-plan kitchen dining area and comfortable living room both measuring 17’ x 10’. The kitchen / dining area includes an oven, hob and breakfast bar with overhead cooker hood, there is also a handy separate utility area and both ground floor rooms provide French doors to the rear garden.

The first floor provides a family bathroom and three bedrooms with the master including an ensuite.

Buyers at The Covers can use the Help to Buy which requires a minimum 5% deposit, the Government will then lend 20% of the cost of the home interest free for 5 years which means you will only require a 75% mortgage, thereby reducing monthly mortgage payments during the first five years of occupation.

For customers with a property to sell, Bellway can offer their free-off-charge Express Mover service, whereby Bellway will agree a price for your old home and instruct an estate agent on your behalf to achieve a quick and satisfactory sale.
