Modern homes being built in Hartlepool are proving a hit with buyers as the properties are being snapped up in a record time.

Persimmon Homes Teesside is urging buyers to hurry if they want to live at The Hawthorns, where the homes offer a contemporary style of living.

Attractive rendering gives each home an individual look while several of the designs feature large balconies which provide useful outdoor space.

The development consists of three and four-bedroom homes in the Bishop Cuthbert area of Hartlepool. It offers the best of both worlds with a choice of shops, restaurants and pubs close by plus a marina and golf course.

There are also great commuter links as the town is situated near to the A19, and within easy reach of both the A66 and A1(M) allowing easy access to all of the major North East towns.

Christine Cooper, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Teesside, said: “It is easy to see why The Hawthorns is proving so popular as these designs are unusual for the area and offer a contemporary style of living with all the benefits that a new-build can bring.

“Schemes such as the Government-backed Help to Buy are available as well as Home Change and Part Exchange and our sales advisors are on hand to guide people through the process.

“Help to Buy is a fantastic scheme that really helps people get on or move up the property ladder. It is a Government-backed shared equity scheme which provides a 20% loan on the term of your mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years. You only need a 5% deposit and it is for first time and next time buyers, plus there is no salary cap.

“Our Home Change scheme is offered in conjunction with Help to Buy. We will help people market their home through local estate agents and pay their estate agent fees once a sale has been agreed.

“We also believe Part Exchange can benefit people who want a quick move in the New Year,” she added.

“If you are eligible for part exchange, we arrange at least two valuations, agree a market price and buy your existing property. We aim to take the stress out of moving as there are no hidden marketing costs and no chains to break.”
