Church Farm Surfacing purchase five new Volvo Trucks

The family-operated company who specialise in laying Asphalt and Tarmac Hard Surfacing have replaced various marques for three Volvo FH 480 6x2 artics, an FM 340 6x4 B ride Rigid, and an FM 400 8x4 tipper from Thomas Hardie Commercials Ltd in Middlewich.
Running a number of Volvo trucks over their 12 years trading it comes as no surprise that the new additions are Volvo. Managing Director Stuart Royall explained that, “Both me and my driver’s enjoy driving Volvo – their extreme comfort and modern look makes them stand out from the competition.”
The three FH-480’s have been fitted with the latest automated I-shift gearbox, which is a first for Church Farm. Stuart stated that, “The I-shift gearing system makes a fantastic drive – I would certainly recommend it.”
All the vehicles have different specifications and have been fitted with a range of extras including, roof lamps, roof signs and trailer detection units.
The trucks were purchased on repair and maintenance contracts from Mark Lingard, Regional Sales Manager at Thomas Hardie’s Middlewich Depot. Stuart stated, “Thomas Hardies are exceptional; we have a strong working relationship with their sales team.” He added, “I have all my vehicles maintained at Middlewich, even the other marques that I own.”
The new vehicles will be seen across the Northwest as they assist in all types of surfacing work.
