Miller Homes Midlands is preparing for a busy few weeks as buyers look to secure themselves the ultimate Christmas gift - a brand new home.

The award-winning housebuilder traditionally has a busy December as people start to look ahead to the New Year and dream about moving in to a new home early in 2015.

Buyers could well make it a five star start to the New Year as Miller Homes was awarded 5 Stars for Customer Satisfaction in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) National New Home Customer Satisfaction Survey.

“We find that people love to forward plan,” commented Paul Walters, associate director at Miller Homes Midlands. “As we move towards the end of the year, you tend to see people looking to the year ahead and changes they are planning to make. For some, that means moving into a brand new home.

“With this in mind, December can often be busy as buyers look to explore their options. We look forward to welcoming people to our developments across the region throughout December for a tour of one of our showhomes, a chat about the purchase options available to make things even more affordable and, of course, a mince pie or two.”

Amongst the developments expecting a pre-Christmas rush is Weavers Court in Castle Donington. Close to the centre of the traditional market town, it enjoys a rural outlook and attracts buyers from Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

Amongst the properties still available at Weavers Court is the four-bedroom, detached Melbourne style home. Priced at £259,950, it includes a feature bay window in the lounge, French doors from the spacious kitchen and dining area into the garden and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

“A range of purchase incentives are available at Weavers Court to make buying really flexible,” concluded Paul. “These include Part Exchange and the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.”

Help to Buy offers buyers the chance to purchase with just a 5% deposit, with an equity loan funding up to 20% of the purchase price. This would make the Melbourne at Weavers Court available from as little as £207,960.

For more on Weavers Court, visit the sales centre, open Thursday – Monday 10am-5pm. Details on other Miller Homes developments across the Midlands can be found by visiting millerhomes.co.uk.
