Building quality homes in some of the North West’s most sought-after locations has helped Elan Homes cement its reputation as a niche developer. Amid improved market conditions and increased buyer demand, the company is hoping to continue that success in 2015.

Early in 2014 Elan celebrated sell-out successes at Thornton Cross, near Crosby, Forest Rise in Mouldsworth and Woodside Court in Cranage. The company also launched new sites including Fern Lea in the charming Cheshire village of Farndon, the exclusive Carnatic Court in the sought-after L18 district of South Liverpool and, most recently, Vicarage Fields in Haslington. Meanwhile existing developments Heritage Park in Penymynydd and Gosling Park in Croft achieved high sales rates.

Elan also had cause for celebration as the Elmswood show home at Carnatic Court was shortlisted in the Your Move Property Awards; while the show homes at Forest Rise and Gosling Park were finalists in the Northern Design Awards.

Marie Morris, sales director for Ellesmere Port based Elan Homes (North), said: “We’ve had a fantastic year across all of our sites and are looking ahead to the fresh challenges that the New Year will bring. We recognise how important location is when choosing a new home and that fact that we’re building in some of the most popular neighbourhoods in the region has certainly played a part in our success.

“It will be important for us to maintain the momentum of sales and delivery of superb quality homes and high levels of customer care buyers expect at our existing sites, but we’re also preparing to launch several new developments including Woodfield Place in Altrincham and The Copse in Kelsall. Our other recent land acquisitions include Hall Gardens in Walton and the Cherry Tree Hospital site in Stockport. In addition we’re actively looking to acquire new sites in highly desirable places where people really want to live to enable us to continue to grow as a business.

“We will consider land with or without planning permission and will carefully assess a site looking at its full potential including who would want to live there and why. If we think it’s suitable we will liaise with the local planning authority with a view to securing planning consent and starting work at the earliest opportunity.”
