With building work now underway, those who aspire to live in the sought-after Cheshire village of Kelsall are invited to register their interest in homes at The Paddocks.

Elan Homes has been granted planning permission to build 13 homes on a 1.85 acre site off Willington Lane.

Known as The Paddocks, the development will offer nine homes for private sale, in a choice of four and five-bedroom designs.

The homes will be finished in a range of materials to create individuality ranging from brick, render and vertical tile hanging and Tudor effect boarding.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “We’ve established a reputation as a niche developer building in some of the North West’s most desirable locations and Kelsall is no exception. Located within walking distance of the village, the new homes at The Paddocks will enjoy easy access to a host of amenities including local stores, community centre and school.

“Because village living is something that many people aspire to, we’ve already collected a strong database of potential purchasers and would encourage prospective purchasers to register their interest now so that we can keep the up to date as we work towards releasing the first properties for sale.”

Elan is committed to creating sustainable communities and will be investing in the area for the benefit of the village’s existing residents and those who purchase the new homes.

Kelsall Primary School and Tarporley High School will share £50,000. Plus more than £13,000 will be invested in children’s play areas or open space in the village

There will also be four homes, in a choice of two and three-bedroom designs, offered to the local community at a discounted value subject to eligibility criteria.

A further £17,000 will be gifted to Cheshire West and Chester Council to provide affordable housing within the borough.
