Miller Homes Midlands lays foundations for hundreds of new homes

Miller Homes Midlands has announced plans to build around 650 new homes in the region.

The properties will be spread across seven new sites in the Midlands, all of which are planned to launch within the next 12 months.

The award-winning housebuilder currently has five developments in the West Midlands, with another two sites planned for Staffordshire and two for Warwickshire during the year ahead.

Miller Homes has acquired land in the Warwickshire villages of Great Haywood and Wellesbourne, in addition to the town of Stratford-on-Avon and another site in Warwickshire, where work is due to start during the next six months.

Three new developments are also planned for the East of the region, with sites earmarked for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

For Alastair Parsons, sales director at Miller Homes Midlands, this announcement is confirmation that the Midlands housing market continues to be buoyant.

He said: “With seven new sites planned across the Midlands this is going to be a busy year for Miller Homes and will open up a whole host of opportunities for buyers. Last year was very successful for the company and lots of people were able to put down roots by purchasing new homes. It looks strongly as though the trend will continue into the coming year.
