Bellway has opened two impressive show homes at its new development in Killingworth.

Situated on the eastern edge of Killingworth Village, Stephenson Park occupies an elevated position providing residents with stunning views over the local countryside.

Visitors to Stephenson Park will now be able to view Bellway’s Brampton and Brentwood showhomes.

“These are two of our most popular designs, but for Stephenson Park we have revisited the design of both homes and made some design tweaks to further improve comfort levels. The Brampton now boasts floor to ceiling windows in the living room which externally gives the home a more contemporary feel. Internally, lighting levels have been improved giving the home a really airy appeal. The Brentwood now includes bi-fold doors to the rear of the house resulting in the kitchen and living room enjoying uninterrupted views to the rear garden,” confirmed Bellway’s sales director, Rob Armstrong.

Stephenson Park will provide a broad range of properties priced from £244,995. All the homes will enjoy a quality specification, with modern bathrooms and kitchens. Externally, the homes will benefit from garages and landscaped front gardens.

Locally residents will be able to enjoy two very traditional pubs, The Killingworth Arms and The Plough Inn, located in the centre the very characterful village which dates back to the 1700’s.

For families, there are a number of well-regarded schools in the area, including West Moor Primary School, Amberley Primary School and St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School for younger pupils and George Stephenson High School for older students.

Buyers will be able to take advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which permits a minimum deposit of 5 percent and allows a buyer to take advantage of a 20 percent 5 year interest free loan which reduces monthly mortgage repayments during the first 5 years of occupation.

Commuters will enjoy excellent local transport connections, the A1, A19 and the A189 are easily accessible. The nearest Metro station is at Palmersville, just over a mile away, from where regular train services run to Newcastle, Gateshead and South Shields.
