New homes in Hinckley aren’t half popular – more than 50% of properties at Park View have now been sold.

Buyers have been keen to reserve new family-sized Redrow homes at the sought-after development, off Coventry Road, and in the last month alone seven properties were snapped up.

The award-winning housebuilder has now increased the choice available, releasing a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments for sale.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “It’s hard to believe that just 12 months ago we were welcoming the first residents into their new homes at Park View. Now more than 50% of the homes are occupied and a vibrant new community has blossomed. As more people have moved in, we’ve seen an upturn in enquiries from potential purchasers and with a greater choice of properties available, we’re anticipating an increase in demand.”

Current prices at Park View start from £102,995 for a one-bedroom apartment, with two-bedroom designs priced from £112,995.

Prices for four-bedroom homes start from £239,995 for a Kenilworth style townhouse, with spacious accommodation laid out over three floors.

On the ground floor, it features a lounge with patio doors onto the rear garden, plus an open plan kitchen and dining room. There’s a laundry space for the washer and dryer, plus a downstairs cloakroom.

Three bedrooms and the family bathroom can be found on the first floor, with the smaller of these rooms equally well suited for use as a home office. The crowning glory of the property is the sumptuous top floor master bedroom, complete with en-suite.

Help to Buy equity loans are available to make owning a brand new home easier to afford.

Using the Government-backed scheme, customers should only need a relatively small deposit of 5%, plus a 75% mortgage from their chosen lender. The remaining 20% is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

The new homes at Park View are being built close to the green spaces and sports pitches of Clarendon Park, while there are local shops on Rugby Road to cater for homeowners’ daily needs. The town centre is within walking distance, offering a wider choice of shops, plus regular markets.

The local train station is just a five minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Trains whisk passengers to Leicester in under 20 minutes, Birmingham in 35 minutes and Coventry within an hour. Even London can be reached inside 90 minutes, including driving to the station.

Show homes at Park View are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information see redrow.co.uk/parkview.
