A recent survey by Emoov shows that over a third of UK homeowners move due to having a child or a growing family. Homebuyers who are looking for a house that offers spacious family accommodation should consider the recently launched stylish townhouses at Parkside Place, Wembley, which are available to purchase through the London Help to Buy scheme.

Designed to suit a range of buyers including families, the townhouses offer contemporary, high specification living accommodation, along with gated private front outdoor space, a garden and parking. Residents will be in easy reach of everything this lively neighbourhood has to offer, as well as excellent transport links. Known for its world-famous stadium and arena, vibrant Wembley has already benefitted from extensive redevelopment. Exciting regeneration continues to spread across the borough and bring with it new amenities and infrastructure, while still offering good value to homebuyers.

Matthew Higgs, Managing Director of Countryside Partnerships South comments: “Wembley ticks a lot of boxes for those in terms of location, whilst Parkside Place in particular offers fantastic quality and affordable properties that are designed to suit modern lifestyles. We believe the new townhouse collection will prove popular, partly because there are limited opportunities within London to buy a spacious, brand new three-bedroom house through the London Help to Buy scheme. Certainly in London, most of the properties available through Help to Buy would be apartments, which might not be ideal for those that want extra space.”

Through London Help to Buy, property purchasers in London can access an equity loan of up to 40% of their property’s value. The scheme is available for new build properties up to £600,000 and it is open to all buyers, not just first timers. With a minimum of just 5% deposit payable, the buyer only needs to get a mortgage for the remaining amount – which can be as little as 55% of the purchase price – usually meaning they can afford a bigger home that better suits their needs. Priced at £599,995, the townhouses at Parkside Place fall within the threshold for the scheme, enabling those who might not otherwise be able to buy a family home in London to get on the property ladder.

The Richmond three-bedroom townhouse incorporates a modern kitchen and separate spacious living / dining area, leading out to the raised rear courtyard garden, offering a peaceful place to relax. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a family bathroom, whilst there is also a shower room at ground floor level. Occupying the top floor is the light-filled master bedroom, which has its own private roof terrace, as well as fitted wardrobes and a luxurious en suite bathroom. The homes overlook a tree-lined avenue and their innovative architecture is designed to blend with the existing setting.

The quality interior specification includes fully fitted kitchens with a range of integrated appliances, sleek bathrooms with white sanitaryware and chrome accessories and timber effect flooring to the ground floor and porcelain floor tiles to the kitchen. A range of environmentally friendly features are incorporated such as an energy efficient district heating system, low energy lighting and dual flush toilets that all help lower consumption and utility bills, making for a greener footprint.

Residents that like to spend time outdoors are within a short distance of Barham Park. For shopping and entertainment, Wembley stadium is the heart of a thriving new complex containing restaurants, cafes and shops including the London Designer Outlet, a designer discount mall. Other retail opportunities nearby include Ikea, one of the largest Tesco’s in the country, Wembley High Road and a short drive away, Brent Cross Shopping Centre.

Conveniently located for transport links, Parkside Place is less than half a mile from Sudbury Town station, the nearest tube station on the Piccadilly Line. Even closer, Sudbury and Harrow Road station on the overground line has services to Marylebone station in just 17 minutes and Covent Garden in 37 minutes. Parkside Place is also well served by several bus routes, while many local amenities are in comfortable walking distance making it easy to get about town, while Heathrow airport is only 12 miles away.

The Richmond, a three-bedroom house at Parkside Place, is priced at £599,995 and are available to purchase through the London Help to Buy scheme. For more information, visit parkside-place.net.
