Property-seekers in Bournemouth can now learn even more about getting help to secure a seafront apartment at Taylor Wimpey’s beautiful Coast development.

That’s because a special Help to Buy Weekend is being held at the development on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March, to give would-be movers the chance to discover how this popular scheme can help them snap up a brand new home in this prestigious location.

Ideal for purchasers in a range of circumstances, there’s a choice of impressive two-bedroom apartments and penthouses available to reserve at Coast, priced from £295,000 up to £525,000 respectively, and each offers a spacious layout that’s perfectly suited to contemporary lifestyles.

Help To Buy enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to access a Government loan of up to 20% of the full price of their new home – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Roz Wells, Associate Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, says: “This is a great opportunity for savvy purchasers to find out how Help to Buy could make it much easier and more affordable to secure one of the new apartments currently available at Coast.

“I would urge would-be buyers to come along to the event and speak to our Sales Executive to find out how they can make a move to this unique seaside development.”

The two-bedroom ‘Portman’ East Coast apartment (plot 58), for example, is priced at £295,000 and features a modern open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with access to an attractive private balcony. Two double bedrooms and a bathroom are located off the internal entrance hallway, while there’s secure underground allocated parking.

Help to Buy is available on new homes up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Offering picturesque views of Bournemouth’s award-winning beach, the new homes at Coast provide the very best of seaside living. As well as having the beach on the doorstep, the development is just a five-minute stroll from the cosmopolitan town centre which offers a wealth of shops as well as an exceptional range of entertainment and leisure facilities.

From department stores and high street retailers to independent shops and vintage boutiques, Bournemouth’s shopping district has something to suit everyone. There’s a great choice of cafés, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs nearby too, while live entertainment is hosted regularly at both the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and the Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom in the town.

Commuters will appreciate the close proximity of the A35 for quick and easy links to Poole, and the A338 for Ringwood and Salisbury, while regular bus services provide access to all parts of Bournemouth. The train station is also nearby, offering direct services to Poole, Weymouth and London.

The Help to Buy Weekend is taking place at Coast on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March from 10am to 5pm. The development is located at 6-10 Priory Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5DL, and open daily between 10am-5pm (Fridays from 1pm to 5pm). Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
