A study commissioned by the nutritional brand, A.Vogel has revealed that on average adults feel stressed for five and a half years of their life , with moving home one of the top reasons for feeling the strain. At Acton Gardens, W3, Countryside is going the extra mile for purchasers, ensuring the process is as smooth and stress free as possible.

Paul Sweeney, Director of Community and Customer Services for Countryside Partnership South region comments: “For us, the customer journey from sales to completion is really important. When it comes to moving in, we want to make this as stress free as possible. One of our most popular provisions is the handyman service. Once the purchaser has legally completed, they are entitled to two free visits from our handyman within the first six weeks of moving in. This service includes assisting with the DIY around the apartment, for example putting up curtain poles, blinds, pictures and additional shelving.”

Paul explains: “Lots of our purchasers have busy lives, working nine till five and utilising this service provides a helping hand free of charge and one less thing to think about when moving home! We’ve had really positive feedback from our purchasers and at least 80 per cent of people opt for it.”

Acton Gardens offers a stylish collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, duplex apartments and penthouses, many of which overlook neighbouring West Park, due for completion in summer 2017. The homes have been designed to maximise light, offering a high specification throughout with flexible living space.

Along with joint venture partners L&Q, Countryside will create 2,500 brand new homes. Green space plays a vital role, with the development providing new parks and open spaces along with a new central square with a supermarket, shops, doctors, dentist surgery, nursery and youth club. There will also be a new tree lined boulevard through the development and a brand-new bus service.

Paul continues: “It isn’t just the handyman service which we provide, we assist with all aspects of moving in, including having traffic marshals on the road to direct furniture delivering drivers and a member of staff manning the lifts in order to make the process as smooth as possible. We also offer an additional separate refuse facility as we understand there can be a lot of mess when moving in; this way everything can go straight into a large skip which we will take away, rather than blocking up the resident refuse. It’s definitely the little things which we believe makes all the difference.”

Acton Gardens is well placed, located within a short walk of Acton Town underground station providing Piccadilly and District Line services into the West End and the City. It is also close to Acton main line station, which will benefit from becoming a station on the Crossrail line when it opens in 2019.

Prices for one bedroom apartments in West Park Terrace are from £465,000, two bedroom apartments start from £590,000 and the three-bed two storey penthouses are available from £750,000.
