Homebuilder Redrow will unveil the new look of its four-bedroom detached Stratford house style in Liverpool this weekend.

One of the award winning developer’s most popular properties, the Stratford has been revamped and re-designed, and will be revealed for the first time when it is launched as the latest show home at Redrow’s Summerhill Park development, off Thomas Lane, on Saturday, April 29.

The new Stratford will retain its Arts & Crafts inspired frontage and spacious and contemporary interior, but there have been changes to the four-bedroom house to increase its stand-out appeal even further.

“The Stratford has been given a facelift and some extra floorspace,” Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow, explained.

“It has long been one of our customers’ favourite family homes and, while we all adhere to the ethos of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, Redrow is constantly looking at ways to improve - and that includes the homes we create.”

Ever-elegant and admired, the spacious kitchen and dining area form the heart of the home in the Stratford, which also boasts a separate lounge and downstairs cloakroom. And the new-style house will still have four good-sized bedrooms – the master of which has an en-suite – plus a family bathroom.

But the latest incarnation will have a hipped roof to streamline the look and add kerb appeal, while the addition of a double-height bay window will not only add to its attraction and appearance but increase the size of the lounge and master bedroom too.

Buyers can view a professionally designed and decorated version of the new Stratford on Saturday, April 29, when the doors to the new show home are opened for the first time. It will provide a ‘taste’ of what can be expected from other three and four-bedroom homes at Summerhill Park, where current prices are from £256,995 for a four-bedroom detached Shrewsbury.

Homes can be purchased with Help to Buy, the government-backed incentive which offers buyers the opportunity to purchase a brand new home with as little as 5% deposit and an equity loan of up to 20%, interest-free for the first five years, meaning they need secure only a 75% mortgage.

Situated in a pleasant residential area with plenty of local amenities, Summerhill Park is also close enough to the city centre for residents to take advantage of all that has to offer. It is also ideal for commuting throughout the North West and beyond: Broadgreen train station is a short walk away and the end of the M62 is within easy reach, linking to the heart of Manchester in around 40 minutes and the M6 in under half an hour.
