Countryside offers a lifeline to second steppers in Gateacre
Home builder Countryside is encouraging house hunters in Gateacre to make the most of its popular Part Exchange initiative, following recent stats that show more than a third of ‘second steppers’ are struggling to upsize their homes.
With a reported 39% of ‘second steppers’ finding it more difficult to sell their home, compared to 12 months ago, Countryside is offering its popular Part Exchange initiative at its highly anticipated Belgravia development in Gateacre.
With properties in the North West taking around eight weeks to sell, homeowners can take advantage of the Part Exchange scheme to sell their property in under half this time, whilst securing a new and luxurious home at Countryside’s Cuckoo Lane development.
Eliminating the uncertainty that comes with a chain, Part Exchange allows buyers to move straight into their new home by guaranteeing a buyer for their existing property at market value, without the need for negotiations or costly agency fees.
One couple who benefited from the scheme at a nearby development is Hannah Watson (40) and her partner Adrian Picton (43), who upsized into a new four-bedroom home last summer.
Adrian commented: “Through Part Exchange we’ve managed to avoid estate agency fees and any stressful negotiations that come with selling a home. I would highly recommend the Part Exchange scheme to any homeowners looking to take their next step, as the team at Countryside have been fantastic and made what could be a stressful process very easy and pain-free.”
Also benefitting from the scheme is Paula (44) and Stuart Selwood (40), who made the decision to upscale into a five-bedroom home at another North West, Countryside development last November.
Paula commented: “Moving house is always stressful as there’s so many factors to consider. Using Countryside’s Part Exchange initiative did help the buying process go quite quickly and we had the keys in less than eight weeks.”
Starting from £464,950, Belgravia comprises 81 four and five bedroom homes, all of which come with Countryside’s high spec finishings and are available through Part Exchange.
Peter Vella, Regional Sales and Marketing Director, Countryside, commented: “The Part Exchange scheme has been designed to make the moving process as simple and straightforward as possible, so it’s great to see buyers take advantage of this initiative to secure their new home.
“The scheme has proven extremely popular on a number of our North West developments and we’re expecting it to generate even further interest at Belgravia. We’ve received a high volume of enquiries for the new homes in Gateacre and would urge buyers to act fast if they’re interested in one of these luxury properties.”
Part Exchange is also available on the four-bedroom homes at Belgravia’s neighbouring development, Gateacre Park.
