Home buyers flock to view new Birkenhead show homes
Home buyers flocked to be among the first to view three brand new show homes and secure a place of their own at Lovell’s Birkenhead development at the weekend.
Lovell unveiled its show home arena at Victoria Place at the new Church Road development in Birkenhead featuring a collection of 50 two, three and four-bedroom properties.
The many visitors who came along during the launch event were wowed by the professionally-styled show homes, designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers including families, people stepping onto the property ladder or, even, downsizing.
Clare Noakes, regional sales director for Lovell North West said: “There was a real buzz about Victoria Place at the weekend as customers took their first tour around the three show homes while enjoying a glass of bubbly to celebrate the occasion.
“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Visitors loved the interiors, the fantastic room sizes and the specification. Customers who have already reserved off-plan have been eagerly waiting for the chance to see inside the homes and it was also a great opportunity for potential buyers who hadn’t quite made up their minds yet, to come along and speak to an independent financial advisor about their options, including Help to Buy support.”
The three-bedroom Berkley show home, styled by The Open Door Company, impressed visitors during the launch weekend. The Berkley boasts a stylish and spacious kitchen, as well as an open plan living and dining area featuring French doors which open out onto the rear garden.
Upstairs the Berkley offers three good sized bedrooms, including an en-suite to the master bedroom, plus the family bathroom.
Also part of the show home arena, there is a four-bedroom Swanford marketing suite and two cosy two-bedroom properties, the Singleton and the Hampton, ideal home for young professionals, couples or downsizers.
A semi-detached Singleton, like the show home, is available from £109,995, offering a good-sized lounge, kitchen/dining area and cloakroom, while upstairs there is a bright and airy master bedroom, a second bedroom and the family bathroom.
With a Help to Buy: Equity Loan available to cover up to 20% of the purchase price, the property can be purchased with a low deposit of £5,500 and a 75% mortgage.
Clare added: “Interest in Victoria Place was extremely really high even before we opened the show homes, thanks to the range of homes, the great location for commuters and reasonable prices. Now the show homes doors have opened, we expect a renewed urgency among interested buyers keen to secure their chosen plots.”
Victoria Place will eventually feature 50 homes, all with off-road parking, a garden and a patio area. The location, close to Birkenhead tunnel, is proving to be a real draw, since Liverpool is just a short journey away. The town has a superb range of retail and leisure facilities including a Vue cinema, Europa swimming pool and Mersey Park.
Those buying here can secure their own brand new home with a low deposit using the Help to Buy initiative. They will own 100% of their new home but only need to pay a 5% down payment and obtain a 75% mortgage, thanks to a government equity loan of up to 20%, which is interest free for the first five years.
Current availability includes the two-bedroom Singleton, at £109,995 and the four-bedroom semi-detached Swanford, at £159,995.
