More than half of homes at Westminster Place near Chester have now been sold and buyers have the chance to join in the celebrations with the gift of Stamp Duty paid.

The Elan Homes development represents one of the final pieces in the jigsaw which has seen the former Saighton Camp site transformed into a sought-after new neighbourhood.

Just months after the show and view homes opened, Elan has welcomed a number of residents and sold more than half of the 30 private-sale properties.

To mark the progress of the development, the housebuilder is offering to cover the cost of Stamp Duty on selected properties. Available, subject to terms and conditions, the move-making incentive could save customers up to £5,000.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, explains: “Stamp Duty is something that people often overlook when they’re assessing their finances with a view to buying a property, particularly if they’re first time buyers. We’re celebrating the success of Westminster Place by offering to cover the cost of Stamp Duty on selected properties for a limited time only, potentially saving customers thousands of pounds and helping to make a dream move a reality.”

The Stamp Duty offer is available on the four-bedroom semi-detached Ashley, priced at £299,995.

Set out over three floors, this attractive townhouse maximises the potential of the space available.

To the ground floor there’s a spacious open plan lounge/ dining room with direct access to the rear garden, kitchen to the front, plus convenient cloakroom.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, including master with en-suite, plus family bathroom. Two further bedrooms, with shared shower room are on the top floor.

With direct access from Sandy Lane, the homes at Westminster Place are ideally situated to enjoy the Cheshire countryside and easy access to Chester city centre.

There are village shops and a supermarket close by, while Chester city centre is just 10 minutes away by car and offers a combination of high street names and boutique stores.

The area is well served by well-regarded state and private schools – including Saighton C of E Primary, the independent Abbey Gate College and Huntington
Community Primary – making it a perfect place to settle down and raise a family.

Show and view homes at Westminster Place are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
