The GMV Townhouses

An exciting new phase of homes is launching soon at the hugely popular Greenwich Millennium Village, a joint venture between Countryside and Taylor Wimpey supported by the Mayor of London. The new release will feature a range of contemporary three-bedroom courtyard houses, and four-bedroom townhouses; the first houses to be available at GMV. These well located homes offer house-hunters the opportunity to purchase a family property in a vibrant London location with easy access to a range of on-site facilities, including an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ Primary School.

Homes in the ‘Townhouse and Courtyard Collection’ have been designed with modern day family life in mind. Townhouses are elegantly designed over three floors, offering a contemporary twist on classic city living, with a garden and private terrace accessed from the master bedroom. The courtyard house design provides three-bedrooms, all with access to outdoor spaces, including a courtyard patio area and a first floor terrace.

Chris Bladon, Director of GMV Limited, comments: “These will be the first houses available at Greenwich Millennium Village, making the launch of this new phase very exciting. Configured to feel like a village setting, residents can enjoy tree-lined streets, a village square and central park, but have access to the city just moments away. We expect these homes to be very popular, so we would urge house-hunters to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!”

The four-bedroom townhouses feature a spacious kitchen, dining area and living area which opens out onto the garden, and large windows ensuring that the entire home is filled with natural light. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts fitted wardrobes, an en suite bathroom and access to a terrace. The final two bedrooms can be found on the top floor, which share the well-appointed family bathroom.

The three-bedroom courtyard houses provide flexible indoor and outdoor living spaces. On the ground floor, the open plan living, dining and kitchen area and third bedroom lead out onto the courtyard patio area. The first floor boasts a spacious master bedroom, complete with a luxurious en-suite bathroom, dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a large terrace, an ideal space to relax and unwind. The second bedroom is also located on the first floor and is served by the family bathroom.

All of the homes in this collection benefit from the high quality interior specification for Greenwich Millennium Village is renowned for. The kitchens are contemporary, with individually designed grey units, stone worktops and a range of integrated appliances, exuding modern city living. Bathrooms are fitted with modern white sanitary ware, chrome accessories and warming Walnut detailing throughout.

A wide array of community facilities are available in the surrounding local area, all focused around a central village square which is home to a range of shops and other amenities. Just a short walk away, the world-famous O2 arena has all the leisure and entertainment facilities you could need. Residents at GMV are also able to enjoy a large amount of green space, with 50 acres of parkland spread across the Peninsula. The 4 acre on-site ecology park features an inner and outer pond where residents can enjoy spending time relaxing and watching the fascinating variety of wildlife that lives in this urban oasis.

Commuters are well served when it comes to travel connections, with GMV being just one stop away from Canary Wharf and nine minutes from Westfield Shopping Centre via the Jubilee Line from North Greenwich Underground Station, which also benefits from night tube services. For a more leisurely commute, the Thames Clippers ferry service departs from North Greenwich Pier, while the cable car line provides frequent connections to the Royal Docks. For travel further, afield London City Airport is a 10 minute journey via public transport.

Guide prices for houses start from £850,000 for a courtyard house and £950,000 for a townhouse. A new phase of one to three bedroom apartments are also soon to be released. For further information about Greenwich Millennium Village, visit gmv.london.
