New homes for first time buyers and families coming soon to Driffield

A collection of brand new two, three and four-bedroom homes is coming soon to Driffield – giving first time buyers and families more choice when it comes to price and style.

A sales and marketing suite is due to open next month at Linden Homes East Yorkshire’s Heartlands development, where 84 two, three and four-bedroom homes are being built.

A fabulous four-bedroom show home is scheduled to open its doors to the public in November.

In the meantime, purchasers can reserve their brand new home from plan, and beat the rush.

Benefits of snapping up a brand new home from the drawing board include:

- Selecting a plot with a sought-after south facing garden
- Choosing preferred taste in wall tiles and kitchen units
- Having a blank canvas from which to plan a new home
- Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
- New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts.
- 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection
- Lower utility bills – new homes are designed to comply with the very latest government building regulations and are already fitted with up to date heating systems, excellent wall and loft insulations and double glazed windows.
- New homes are six times more energy efficient than older style homes - a linden home generates over 60 per cent less CO2 emissions than older style homes meaning much lower energy bills and cost savings all round.
- Virtually maintenance free homes – spend time on what you enjoy doing rather than what needs doing.
- Everything is new with no hidden costs over second hand properties.
- Use of the Help to Buy Scheme – available on new build homes only, but can be used by existing home owners as well as first time buyers,

Suitable for everyone from first time buyers and downsizers to young professionals and families and upsizes, the first homes are due for completion in early 2018.

Prices have yet to be released, but there is an opportunity to register your interest on the website lindenhomes.co.uk/developments/yorkshire/heartlands-driffield.

The local area offers a number of other day-to-day amenities, an abundance of exceptional places to eat and drink, many high street stores and independent shops within the bustling town centre and a range of health services.

Often referred to as the heartbeat of the Wolds, Driffield is perfectly located close enough to major destinations like the bustling Cathedral City of York, 2017 City of Culture, Hull and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, while being an ideal place to take a break from city life.

And you are never too far away from the hustle and bustle of a thriving city centre or the slower pace of a seaside town – with Hull, Beverley around half an hour away, and Scarborough a little further.
