Time is running out for house-hunters hoping to secure one of the final properties at Bearroc Park, Taylor Wimpey’s near sell-out development in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

There are now just a handful of homes remaining for sale, including the three-bedroom ‘Pimlock’ (plot 35), priced at £580,000, which is available to view and includes flooring throughout.

What’s more, the popular Help to Buy scheme is available at Bearroc Park, enabling first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Jack Costello, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’ve been delighted with the response from savvy buyers to our new homes at Bearroc Park, so it’s no surprise that there are now just a few properties remaining for sale.

“With interest levels continuing to run extremely high, I’d advise prospective purchasers to get in touch without delay to secure a brand new home in this popular location.”

The ‘Pimlock’ features a light and airy living/dining room with double doors opening to the private rear garden, a stylish kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to three well appointed bedrooms, including the luxurious en suite master bedroom which boasts a Juliet balcony, plus a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from a garage and driveway parking.

Help to Buy is available on new-build homes up to the value of £600,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.

Bearroc Park enjoys a highly desirable, tree-lined location on the western fringes of Berkhamsted, a charming market town on the Grand Union Canal set in an attractive wooded valley within the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The town boasts a wealth of historic buildings, some dating back to the medieval period, and offers a vibrant mix of independent shops and high street stores – including a Waitrose supermarket – plus a great choice of pubs, places to eat and a beautiful art-deco cinema.

Berkhamsted’s sports facilities include a leisure centre with swimming pool, sports hall, squash courts and sports pitches, while the surrounding area is also popular for road cycling and mountain biking.

Families will appreciate there’s a choice of schools for children of all ages within easy reach.

For commuters, the A41 is close by for quick links to Tring, Hemel Hempstead, Watford and London, while Berkhamsted railway station provides regular trains to London Euston in approximately half an hour.

To find out more about the last remaining homes at Bearroc Park, property-seekers should contact the Brown and Merry estate agency, located at 124 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3AT, and open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
