L&Q has announced it will offer London Help to Buy at The Overdraught, Haggerston.

From winter 2017, all three of the one bedroom homes at the East London canal side development will be available through the scheme.

Consisting of eight boutique apartments and a four bedroom townhouse, The Overdraught sits on Regent’s Canal, with each of the homes equipped with either a balcony or spacious terrace to enjoy the views.

Cathy Lloyd, Sales & Marketing Director at L&Q, comments; “We’re incredibly excited to be launching Help to Buy at The Overdraught, allowing us to help even more buyers get onto the London property ladder. With outdoor space and views across the picturesque canal, the new development has proved popular with young professionals wanting to take advantage of the great location and nearby hotspots.”

Located on the site of a historic Irish pub of the same name, the apartments are fitted with the Symphony gold range and AEG kitchen appliances, including dishwasher, fridge freezer and combi oven, and each features stylish tiling and underfloor heating.

With plenty of local bars, cafes and restaurants to whet the appetite, plus pop up galleries, antique stores and social clubs in the near vicinity, The Overdraught also sits close to both Shoreditch and Old Street, each offering a broad spectrum of culture and nightlife.

A short walk to Haggerston Overground station sees a 25 minute commute into central London and The City, while cycling and walking to work is made all the more pleasant along the Regent’s Canal tow path.

One bedroom apartments are available from £565,000. The townhouse is due to launch later in 2017.
