Barratt London is launching 39 new luxurious two and three-bedroom homes at the company’s Hampstead Reach development, all of which are ready to move into immediately, offering an exceptional residential environment that reflects the Arts and Crafts architecture of the area.

Designed around a private landscaped courtyard in a peaceful and secluded cul-de-sac, accessed from Wellgarth Road, the apartments are set over three to four storey buildings placed in a random, unordered fashion which references the organic growth and development of English villages and market towns. Many of the apartments overlook spacious communal gardens and the village street pattern is further enhanced by the use of natural materials including handmade clay roof tiles and high-quality bricks.

The generously proportioned interiors are evocative of the Arts and Crafts period, but with a modern twist, which includes elegant hardwood and tiled flooring, underfloor heating and comfort cooling throughout. The configuration of the rooms and their relationship to the external windows has been developed to maximise solar orientation and the large windows ensure high levels of natural light.

The stylish yet practical open plan kitchens have been fitted with high quality Grohe and Miele appliances.

Onsite facilities include a 12-hour concierge service, underground parking for every apartment, private outdoor space (either balcony or terrace) and landscaped communal gardens.

Two show homes are open on site, a three-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment, both decorated by Blocc Interiors.

Pam Reardon, sales director at Barratt London, said: “We expect the homes at Hampstead Reach to be exceptionally popular with both young families and downsizers in the area.

“For families, these homes offer a convenient base for access to central London as well as proximity to the excellent schools and amenities in the area.

“For those seeking to sell larger family homes after children have grown up, Hampstead Reach is the perfect choice, offering a brand new, easily maintained home close to family, friends and all the activities they enjoy in the area.”

Hampstead Reach is within a ten-minute walk of Golders Green Underground station, in Zone 3 on the Edgware branch of the Northern line, providing rapid access to central London in under 15 minutes. For residents who enjoy the great outdoors, the development is also within a 10-minute walk of London’s largest ancient parkland, Hampstead Heath.

Golders Green and nearby Hampstead not only provide convenient amenities, but an array of leisure activities. The Hampstead Theatre is home to a number of emerging and established writers offering fresh contemporary performances. There is an abundance of historical buildings including Kenwood House, which hosts a range of open-air concerts during the summer. The Spaniards Inn has a colourful history; the popular pub and restaurant was known to be the refuge of highwayman Dick Turpin.

Prices at Hampstead Reach start from £900,000.
