New take on an old classic in the Cotswolds

The traditional Cotswold home has been given a fresh new look by Edenstone Homes at Sealey Wood in Horsley and those who reserve ‘off plan’ will be able to personalise their property before moving in.

Nestled amid rolling hills, the development in the Gloucestershire village enjoys a picturesque setting with panoramic views over the valley below.

In keeping with the setting, Edenstone is using traditional Cotswold stone to build the 11 private sale homes at Sealey Wood, designed to be a rural extension to Horsley. The development features two/three-bedroom homes to substantial five-bedroom properties spanning up to 250 sq m. They are currently available ‘off plan’ and one eager buyer has already reserved their preferred property.

Help to Buy is a Government-backed scheme available exclusively on new build homes priced up to £600,000. It gives buyers the chance to purchase a property with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The balance is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

Current prices at Sealey Wood range from £558,000 up to £999,000.

Subject to build stage, buyers will be able to personalise their property.

“One of the distinct advantages of purchasing a brand new home over an older property is that providing you reserve early on, you will have plenty of opportunities to customise it to your personal taste,” Andrea added.

Residents of Sealey Wood will benefit from having a range of key services and facilities close to home as Horsley Primary School, the community shop, Horsley Village Hall, playing pitches and pavilion, ‘3 in 1’ Church and bus stops are all within a mile of the development.

Further key services can be found in nearby Nailsworth, including a post office, doctor surgery, dentist, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser and bank.
