The traditional Cotswold home has been given a fresh new look by Edenstone Homes at Sealey Wood in Horsley and those who reserve ‘off plan’ will be able to personalise their property before moving in.

Nestled amid rolling hills, the development in the Gloucestershire village enjoys a picturesque setting with panoramic views over the valley below.

In keeping with the setting, Edenstone is using traditional Cotswold stone to build the 11 private sale homes at Sealey Wood, designed to be a rural extension to Horsley. While externally the properties will exude charm and character, inside they will offer modern luxury living with spacious layouts and a high specification to reflect how people live today.

The development features two/three-bedroom homes to substantial five-bedroom properties spanning up to 250 sq m. They are currently available ‘off plan’ and one eager buyer has already reserved their preferred property.

Andrea Nippe, sales director for Edenstone Homes, said: “Sealey Wood offers buyers the rare opportunity to embrace rural Cotswold village life in a brand new home that is as stunning as its surroundings.

“There’s a real excitement about the homes we are building and that is growing as work progresses on site. The fact that we have already taken a reservation as such an early stage indicates just how special the development is, both in terms of the location and the design of the properties. What people may be surprised to learn, is that Help to Buy is available, giving them the chance to reduce the initial cost of owning one of these beautiful homes.”

Help to Buy is a Government-backed scheme available exclusively on new build homes priced up to £600,000. It gives buyers the chance to purchase a property with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The balance is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

Current prices at Sealey Wood range from £558,000 up to £999,000.

Subject to build stage, buyers will be able to personalise their property.

“One of the distinct advantages of purchasing a brand new home over an older property is that providing you reserve early on, you will have plenty of opportunities to customise it to your personal taste,” Andrea added.

“Customers at Sealey Wood will be able to handpick their preferred choice of Sigma 3 kitchens, which include fully integrated Neff appliances. The homes also include contemporary white sanitary ware from Roca and purchasers can select premium ceramic wall tiling from Porcelanosa for the bathroom and en-suite.”

Residents of Sealey Wood will benefit from having a range of key services and facilities close to home as Horsley Primary School, the community shop, Horsley Village Hall, playing pitches and pavilion, ‘3 in 1’ Church and bus stops are all within a mile of the development.

Further key services can be found in nearby Nailsworth, including a post office, doctor surgery, dentist, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser and bank.

The homes at Sealey Wood are currently being sold ‘off plan’, with a show home scheduled to open in May. For more information, see edenstonehomes.com/sealey-wood-horsley.
