Edmondson takes Chatham win

Fast Eddy powered his Relentless Suzuki around the challenging but fast course, near Chatham in Kent, to claim his first win of the season at the second round of the ultra-competitive Putoline XC Championship.
The 4.5-mile course was in perfect condition and the weather was glorious as more than 60 competitors lined-up for the start of the 2.5 hr Pro/Expert race. For once Fast Eddy was beaten to the hole-shot but he quickly regained the lead and stayed ahead of the chasing pack to the finishing line, posting a clear lap ahead of his rivals.
Paul Edmondson commented, “The track was perfect, the weather was perfect and the RM-Z250 was perfect, what more can you ask for? The course had everything from woods, to fast fields, to mega jumps and log sections. I enjoyed every minute of the race and so did the Suzuki, it never missed a beat."
