Abbey offers £100 bonus to current account switchers

Switchers to Abbey's 'limited edition' current account will receive £100 if they move to Abbey before the 15th of December.

All they need to do is use our account transfer service to move their salary and direct debits to the account and make at least three monthly credits of £1,000 in the first six months .

The £100 will be paid straight into the account no later than 60 days after the third credit.

The account has a very competitive overdraft interest rate of 12.9 per cent and an in-credit interest rate of 0.1 per cent.

Steve Shore, Abbey Director of Banking, said: "This offer is available for a limited time only in the run up to Christmas. All someone has to do is call our switcher team and they'll do all the hard work - including moving your salary and direct debits. It's the easiest £100 you'll ever make."

The new £100 'limited edition' account joins the range of Abbey's current accounts already on offer, including Abbey's preferred in-credit rate account and the preferred overdraft rate account, as well as its new Travel and Family reward accounts. Each account has different features to suit the differing needs of Abbey's customers.
