Nationwide announces new overdraft rate

Nationwide Building Society has today announced that from 1 June 2009 the authorised and unauthorised overdraft rate will increase from 17.90% to 18.90% EAR. The rate remains below the average charged by most major high street banks.

Nationwide's FlexAccount continues to offer a range of benefits which are not offered by some other providers, including commission free use abroad and exclusive access to e-Savings and e-Savings Plus, the Society's internet savings accounts.
