Jupiter Green Investment Trust increases assets by 68%

The Board of Jupiter Green Investment Trust is pleased to announce it has raised £24.25m in its C Share issue.

The placing, which closed on 27 July 2007, increases the size of the Company by 68% to nearly £60m.

Perry Crosthwaite, Chairman of the Company, said: "The strong performance produced by Jupiter Green during the first year of its life has enabled us to raise significant new assets from both retail and institutional investors despite turbulent market conditions. We are delighted to have increased the Company's size by 68%, which puts us well on the way to achieving our stated aim of increasing the Company's size to £100m."

The C Shares, which were offered at a price of £1 per C share together with new warrants on a one for five basis, commenced dealing on the London Stock Exchange at 8am on Monday 30 July 2007.
