Britannia’s saucy calendar raises cash

20th December 2006 Print
Staff from Britannia Building Society who bared all in a calendar have raised more than £1,500 for children with cancer.

The team from Britannia's Treasury department shed their winter woollies to pose naked for the limited edition calendar, which has been a great success.

Shot at the Society's head offices in Leek, Staffordshire, the calendar showed members of the Treasury team in a variety of tasteful poses, behind strategically placed office equipment.

Steve Nichols, Head of Britannia's Treasury - who appeared as Mr June in the calendar, said: "The calendar was a project which was fun and completely different. We are delighted with the success and want to thank everyone who has supported us."

A few calendars, which cost £5 each, are still available with all proceeds being donated to Britannia's corporate charity, CLIC Sargent - UK's leading children's cancer charity.
