Yorkshire Building Society increases savings rate

Yorkshire Building Society has today announced that following the Bank of England base rate increase on 11th January 2007, the Society will be increasing the interest rate on all its variable rate savings accounts by 0.25% on Sunday 28th January 2007.

Also on Sunday 28th January 2007, the Society will be increasing its mortgage Standard Variable Rate by 0.25% to 7.15%. All products that track the SVR or are a discount from the SVR will change for both new and existing customers with effect from this date.
