Halifax named most parent friendly bank

Halifax has been voted Most Parent Friendly Bank for the fourth year running in the 2007 Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards.

The awards credit companies that are taking parents' needs into consideration and helping to make their lives less stressful. The awards are based on votes cast by parents across the UK.

Along with the award for Most Parent Friendly Bank, Halifax was named Best Children's Savings Account provider for the second year running in the Tommy's Awards.

Mike Regnier, head of savings at Halifax, said: "It is a fantastic honour to be recognised in the Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards, and it means all the more to us because they are based on votes cast by parents themselves."
