Nationwide to provide free cash machines at Wembley Stadium

Nationwide Building Society has announced that it is to become an Official Supplier to the new Wembley Stadium. The new deal, which will run until the summer of 2010, is the latest addition to Nationwide's football sponsorship portfolio - which includes being the official England team sponsor.

This new deal means that Nationwide becomes the venue's Official Financial Services Supplier and will see the building society provide all the cash machines (ATMs) within Wembley Stadium. Thanks to Nationwide, these ATMs will be free of charge to supporters and customers at Wembley - which will become one of the few stadiums in the world where such an offer is in place.

Peter Gandolfi, Nationwide's Head of Brand Strategy, said: "Nationwide has been a sponsor of football in the UK for over a decade - our history in football includes being the England team sponsor at the last game at the old Wembley Stadium. We are thrilled to become an Official Supplier of the new Wembley Stadium, which will be the venue for many fantastic events including Cup Finals, international matches and concerts."

Alex Horne, Managing Director of Wembley Stadium, said: "We are delighted that Nationwide have come on board as an Official Supplier to the Stadium. Nationwide has a long-standing relationship with football and are key to helping us provide a fantastic Wembley Stadium event day experience for fans. Nationwide will be providing a valuable service to all fans attending events at the stadium through the provision of ATMs on our concourses."
