Barclays support British Heart Foundation’s Help A Heart campaign

Barclays Wealth has announced that it will be ‘helping a heart’ this June by supporting the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) month long campaign with a series of fundraising initiatives.

Throughout June, Barclays Stockbrokers will be donating 10 pence from trades made to the BHF while Barclays Wealth’s Estates and Trusts business will give £5 from every will written to the charity. The initiative applies to all client trades except third party dealing, corporate nominee, corporate accounts or InterBank dealing.

In addition, donations will be made for will packs requested throughout June where will instructions are returned by the end of July. Barclays Stockbrokers staff will also be collecting donations on behalf of the BHF throughout the first week in June.

The British Heart Foundation, the nation’s heart charity, is committed to preventing lives being devastated by heart disease. By supporting the Help a Heart campaign Barclays is contributing to the fundraising target of £1.5 million which the charity needs to continue to fund essential lifesaving heart research.

Stockmarket investors can take advantage of the opportunity to donate to the BHF by trading with Barclays Stockbrokers by visiting stockbrokers.barclays.co.uk or by calling 0845 601 7788. Donations on behalf of Barclays Stockbrokers clients will be made on all trades from equities to trades within tax efficient wrappers such as PEPs and ISAs.
