Tesco extends euro cash machine trial
Tesco Personal Finance is extending its trial of Euro ATMs in time for the summer holidays.The six-month trial of four euro ATMs has proved popular with customers and the decision has been made to extend the trial to twenty.
Stewart Gow, Tesco Personal Finance head of ATMs said: “We want to make travel money accessible, for our customers. They can pick up their euros at a competitive exchange rate at no charge whilst they do their weekly shop which is convenient. It's an easy way for customers to get their holiday money.”
The euro ATMs are free to use and located close to transport hubs across the UK.
They are available in Tesco branches at Ashford, Gatwick, Long Eaton, Altrincham, Glasgow (Silverburn), Bury, Hemel Hempstead, Chester, Finchley, Aylesbury, Port Glasgow, Dover, Hatfield, Andover and Newton Abbott. A further five will be opened over the next few weeks across Northern Ireland.
Gow goes on to say that: “Initial customer feedback has been really positive with the emphasis on convenience. We want to improve our customers’ experience every time they deal with us and this trial will help us further understand their needs.”
