Cheshire Building Society wins six prestigious industry awards

Cheshire Building Society has picked up a number of prestigious awards recently, including the Moneyfacts' Best Short-Term Fixed Rate Mortgage Provider award, What Mortgage's Best Fixed Rate Mortgage award and the Best Fixed Rate Mortgage at the Moneywise Awards.

The Cheshire was also awarded Highly Commended for Best Discount Rate Mortgage at the Moneywise Awards and Commended for Best Overall Fixed Rate Provider at the Moneyfacts Awards.

In addition, Cheshire Building Society's ‘Select' home insurance policy has been awarded the maximum five star rating by Defaqto, the independent financial data collection and research company.

As well as the recent product award wins, Cheshire's Payroll Giving Scheme has received the Gold Award, which is the Government's highest accreditation. The scheme, in which employees donate directly from their monthly salary to their chosen charities, currently supports 55 charities with donations totalling almost £11,000 a year. In addition the Society's Chief Executive, Karen McCormick, has collected the Most Inspiring Woman Award on behalf of the Cheshire.
