New look for Halifax online banking

Halifax has re-launched its online banking website, halifax-online.co.uk, with enhanced features and new services.

The new online service offers:

A great new look – the online service has a refreshing new look and navigating the site is easier

A new homepage – customers' homepage is now called 'My accounts' and customers will be able to view all their account information on one screen

A simpler menu – making it easier to bank online

Handy shortcuts – to get to the most frequently used services quickly

New features include:

Customers can now transfer money between their eligible banking and savings accounts more easily

Apply for an overdraft and change an existing overdraft limit online if customers have a suitable Halifax Current Account

Shoomon Perry, head of ecommerce, said: "Our new online banking service offers a great new look along with improved navigation and new features to make using it even easier than before.

"We have more than 5.5 million registered online users, and this number is growing all the time, which shows how popular our online banking service is."
