We are especially pleased by the introduction of a family income benefit style and the reductions we are able to offer members when we have to exclude a certain condition. These developments open the door to consumers who previously thought that critical illness was unavailable to them.
"We have also taken the opportunity to review our prices and have made several revisions. For instance a male non smoker aged 30 next birthday, with cover of £100,000 over 20 years on a guaranteed basis will pay £38.45 per month, a reduction of 3 percent. On a decreasing term basis, the premium is now £24.61, a reduction of 9 percent"
