Water Colour amenities map Over the past twelve months, local people have watched with interest as a new village has emerged just outside Redhill in surrey, and now that the first residents have arrived at Water Colour, the community is truly taking shape.

The driving force behind the creation of Linden Homes’ development has been the idea to combine town and country living, with the 500 new homes benefiting from a range of on-hand facilities, all contained within a picturesque countryside setting.

Water Colour is surrounded by green open spaces, with its very own 25-acre nature reserve and surrounding fields offering a stunning backdrop to the homes and the opportunity for a variety of outdoor pursuits.

As a sustainable village community, Water Colour has been designed to appeal to the flexible needs of today’s homeowner, with facilities including a doctor’s surgery, crèche, vet, local store and gym all located in the new village. While Water Colour incorporates all the essential requirements for everyday life on site, it is also located in a prime position for residents to call upon a broad range of services and local amenities.

Good transport links, close proximity to medical facilities and a well-serviced civic centre rank among the highest priorities for contemporary homebuyers. All are close by with Redhill train station and Gatwick airport a short distance, and the town centres of Redhill and Croydon within 10 minutes drive of Water Colour. Commuters benefit from a short twenty mile journey into London, while the welcome retreat of the south coast can be found in less than an hour.

Families will appreciate the close proximity to a wealth of good local schools, with five junior and two senior schools all within a few miles of the village. East Surrey Hospital is also conveniently located just four miles away.
