Why buy from an unknown?

20th June 2007 Print
Why buy from an unknown? Silver Homes is a highly respected, award winning company which has been building extensively in Kent and Surrey for over 20 years. Now Silver Homes is creating luxury apartments in the heart of Purley, near Croydon in Surrey and bringing with them their highly professional team.

Carl Berwick is the site manager at Wakeling Manor in Foxey Lane which backs onto the highly regarded, Webb Estate. Carl has worked for Silver Homes for a number of years and will, as the development progresses, head a team of around 25 skilled workers.

Silver Homes has a vibrant, young team working in-house providing buyers with high quality, beautifully created homes and this will be clearly seen as the building begins to take shape.

The company has won many awards for quality of build, architectural accomplishments, location, style, layout and more recently for its commitment to sustainability. The company won an Evening Standard award for a prestigious development at Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne and has a number of NHBC, Pride in the Job awards.

What defines a Silver Homes’ built property is the understated luxury. From entering a Silver home it is immediately apparent that it is superior to its peers; everything from the balustrading to the cornices shows great attention to detail. Craftsmanship and high standards of build, (traditional bricks and mortar), ensure that the homes are built for a lifetime and more. They are also outstandingly “stylish”, which probably is the word which best describes a property by Silver Homes.

Wakeling Manor is to comprise 13 luxury apartments, each with underground, secure parking. The whole development will sit in beautifully landscaped grounds and be approached by automatic, electronic gates.

Purley offers good train access to central London and Gatwick airport and nearby Croydon has a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and night life.

Purley itself is an active centre with a wide variety of local shops together with a large Tesco supermarket. There are miles of open countryside within a short drive and Epsom, Sutton and Cheam also provide good shopping centres.

Carl and his team expect to be on site until December 2007 with the grand opening of the first show home expected to be around August.
