Well worth the wait - Charles Church in Reigate

11th July 2007 Print
Karen Baldwin Karen Baldwin first set eyes on the apartments at Charles Church’s The Belvederes development in South Reigate at the end of last summer and now, almost a year later, she holds the key to her dream property and is looking forward to making a home there.

Having grown up in Reigate and having parents who still lived in the area, Karen had always aspired to move back to her stomping ground and, when the opportunity came up for her to move from her home in Horley, she jumped at the chance!

“I have always wanted to buy a property in Reigate but, up until now, the circumstances were not right,“ she explains. “My search took me to a couple of second hand homes as well as some new builds. After seeing the apartments at The Belvederes nothing else compared. I really liked the fact that the kitchen, dining room and living area were all open plan as it made the apartment feel much more spacious. The kitchen and bathroom also had a really high specification, which was the perfect touch.”

As with all Charles Church developments the kitchens and bathrooms at The Belvederes have been finished to the highest specification. The kitchens have stainless steel appliances including a double electric oven, gas hob and extractor hood as well as an integrated fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Bathrooms and en-suite facilities are fitted with Ideal Standard sanitaryware, chrome mixer taps, fitted mirrors and ceramic floor tiles.

Karen, who works as a community nurse in nearby Merstham, instantly fell for Plot 9, which had been converted into the sales office but has now been reverted to its former glory as a ground floor two bedroom apartment.

“Choosing the plot which was the sales office meant that I had to wait before I could move in,” she added. “But it was really worth it. The staff at Charles Church have been helpful every step of the way. As I reserved at a time when a special incentive promotion was running I was given £90 worth of vouchers for Chez Gerrard in Reigate. I look forward to enjoying this once I have settled in.”

All of the apartments at The Belvederes have been reserved and all apartment homes at Charles Church’s Hill Rise development in Reigate Hill have sold, but Charles Church is still developing at High Cedars, Wray Park Road, in Reigate, where luxury two and three bedroom apartments are available from £349,950 - £599, 950.

The Marketing Suite is open daily between 10am and 6pm. Alternatively visit Charleschurch.com.
