Hydrogen Energy International, a joint venture between BP Alternative Energy and Rio Tinto, has taken office space at The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, from Prudential Property Investment Managers (PRUPIM).

Advised by Savills, Hydrogen Energy has acquired part of the ground floor in Building 1 at the business park comprising 11,635 sq ft (1,081 sq m).

Building 1 is one of five properties at The Heights and comprises 55,140 sq ft (5,123 sq m), arranged over three floors. The other tenants at the property are Daikin Air Conditioning UK and Select Service Partner.

Jonathan Gardiner, director of Savills’ regional offices team, says: “Hydrogen Energy is a new and exciting joint venture for BP Alternative Energy and Rio Tinto, and it was important to identify a building that reflected the investment they are making into this venture. The Heights does this on every level and has proven to be a major success with the employees based there.”

PRUPIM was represented by joint-agents CBRE and King Sturge.
