Seasonal deals for Surrey home buyers

Linden Homes has launched a range of incentives to encourage buyers in the South East to put a new home at the top of their wish list in the run up to Christmas, including the offer to subsidise mortgages for buyers up to the value of £18,000 over two years at its flagship regeneration scheme in Surrey.

Customers looking to buy an apartment at The Artist’s Quarter, part of Linden’s Water Colour development in Redhill, Surrey have the option to receive £750 a month towards their mortgage payments for the first two years or to take a lump sum discount when they reserve a two bedroom apartment at the development.

The news will be welcomed by home buyers in the South East, whose hopes for an interest rate cut by The Bank of England this month were dashed when it remained at 5.75% for the fourth consecutive month.

The Artist’s Quarter apartments, situated at the heart of the Water Colour community - a major restoration scheme to transform a disused sand quarry into a new 500 home community - have proved extremely popular with young professionals looking to commute into London, and this latest offer is expected to entice more cash-strapped buyers to the market before Christmas.

It is very convenient for commuting into the city, but is located away from the hustle and bustle, which was one of the main selling points for me. We have a lot of space, two good sized bedrooms and amazing views of a nature reserve and lake which form part of the development.”

Prices at The Artist’s Quarter start at £242,500 for two bedroom apartments with ensuite master bedrooms, balcony and allocated parking. Homes are now complete and ready for occupation by Christmas.
