Housebuilder shows its support for children’s charity Linden Homes made its annual donation to preferred charity – The Children’s Trust in Tadworth last month, contributing £30,000 towards a new rehabilitation unit for children with acquired brain injuries and taking the total amount raised by Linden for the Trust over the last three years to £114,000.

The Children’s Trust is a national charity, which has been providing care, education and therapy to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs for the past 20 years.

The contributions from Linden Homes continue to support the construction of a new two-storey national rehabilitation centre within the 24 acre grounds of the Trust. The centre is now 30 weeks into a projected 15 month building schedule, which will further modernise the service offered by the Trust and provide advanced facilities for the children.

Oonagh Goodman, Senior Fundraising Manager at The Children’s Trust, adds:

“Everyone at The Children's Trust is thrilled to have Linden Homes as a partner on our fundraising programme, helping to deliver the best possible services to children with multiple disabilities. We are all very excited at the prospect of completing a unique centre for the care and rehabilitation of disabled children – one which will be of truly national significance.”

Paul Cooper, Managing Director of Linden Homes South East, comments:

“We are delighted to be associated with an organisation as worthy as The Children’s Trust, which not only provides healthcare and education, but also acts as a home to some of the country’s most disadvantaged children. The new rehabilitation unit presents a real break-through, and will ensure that the best possible care is available.”
