Embrace outer space

Embrace outer space More and more homebuyers are reaching the conclusion that carefully designed outside spaces are as important as crafted interiors. Balconies and terraces are now seen as valuable extensions of the home, too important not to be used all the year round for entertaining and relaxing.

With this in mind, Surrey based developer Consero Homes has created a unique collection 10 houses with balconies and vast terrace areas which overlook Sandown Park racecourse and surrounding countryside at its Thomas More Gardens development in Esher, Surrey.

Steven Glover, Director of Consero Homes identified the land at Thomas More Gardens as an ideal location for development. Steven comments: “Outside structures on new homes such as balconies or terraces have replaced garages as the must have item. This demand has resulted on average in a balcony adding a bonus to the price of a home of £12,500, a terrace an extra £50,000, with an exceptionally large terrace worth upwards of £100,000. With a superb view, the balcony can add an uplift of up to £20,000.”

Robert Osborn Director of Consero Homes spent a considerable amount of time developing the design of the development, paying attention to detail to the balconies and terraces which combine traditional materials with contemporary to offer unique spaces for alfresco dining. Robert comments:

“At Thomas More Gardens the balconies and terraces, are a unique selling point for the development as they offer so much external living space which cannot be found anywhere else in the area. Residents will be the envy of the neighbourhood with such fantastic views of Sandown Racecourse and the surrounding countryside.”

Thomas More Gardens provides a range of new four and five bedroom homes with six townhouses, two semi detached and two detached properties, all of which provide low maintenance accommodation. Located just a short walk from Esher town centre, residents will get the best of both worlds, benefiting from the open countryside as well as the excellent range of exclusive shops, bars and restaurants.

There is a mainline station, which offers quick regular services into London Waterloo, taking 30 minutes. For motorists, the A3 provides a fast route to London and the south coastland and links with the M25 at Junction 10. Heathrow is about 30 minutes away and Gatwick about 40 minutes.

With views of Sandown Park or the open countryside this development is perfectly situated for the many sports and leisure activities available in the area. Nearby schools include Notre Dame Preparatory School, American Community School, Cranmere Primary, Esher High School and Claremont Fan Court School.

Prices at Thomas More Gardens start from £995,000. For further information contact Hamptons International or log on to Conserohomes.co.uk.
