Its lights, camera, action at The Cascades in Virginia Water

‘Caught in a Trap' features The Sound of Music star, Connie Fisher, who plays Gemma Perkins, a young woman who is obsessed by Elvis Presley. Gemma lives at home with her domineering step-mother and feeble father, and has a low paid job emptying car park meters. Gemma seeks solace in her obsession with Elvis Presley and to fund her hobby of collecting Elvis memorabilia, she starts to steal from the car park meters. As her spending becomes uncontrollable, Gemma is in serious danger of being caught by the police and goes on the run.
When Gemma realises the police are on to her, she decides to re-visit a place that she associates with her childhood and her late mother. The place Gemma visits is now being re-developed as a new housing estate, The Cascades. Donald Cameron, producer of ‘Caught in a Trap' comments:
"We chose The Cascades as it was a perfect representation of a site which, over time, has undergone considerable re-development in order to cater for today's ever expanding community. The Cascades represents a part of Gemma's past which she has fond memories of and once she sees it has been re-developed, she realises she can't cling onto the past and turns herself in. The Cascades represents a shift in Gemma's mind."
The Cascades is an exclusive development offering a range of luxury town houses and apartments that combine aesthetically pleasing designs and traditional building techniques that is synonymous with the Charles Church name.
Prices at The Cascades start from £399,950. For further information, visit charleschurch.com.
