Enterprising town centre living at affordable prices The recent cut in stamp duty makes no difference to most buyers in Surrey where the average price of a flat is £222,527 and property is still priced out of many first time buyers reach.

However, there is good news for those who are on a tight budget; Knight Frank is soon launching Enterprise Place, a new development in Woking town centre with prices anticipated to start from approximately £140,000, significantly below the £175,000 stamp duty threshold.

Built by Modern City Living, Enterprise Place includes 129 studio, one and two bedroom apartments in a fantastic location in the heart of Woking's bustling town centre, with a host of amenities and the train station conveniently close by.

Paul Hogarth, partner and head of new homes sales and marketing for Knight Frank south east, said: "Enterprise Place offers a superb opportunity for those who want to get a foot on the property ladder, with a number of aspirational apartments priced below the revised stamp duty threshold. Set amongst Woking's shops, entertainment and arts, and just a few minutes walk from the train station which has direct services into London Waterloo in just over 20 minutes, it also offers total convenience and so would suit busy professionals, commuters and downsizers alike.

"As well as a great shopping centre and leisure facilities, Woking has a vibrant art scene; the prize winning new arts centre, The Lightbox, which opened last year is quickly becoming renowned as one of the most exciting gallery spaces in the south east. The sparkling mix of entertainment, convenient facilities and easy access to London, as well as the leafy countryside on its doorstep, make Woking town centre an ideal place to live."

Enterprise Place is a wonderful contemporary building with a mix of apartments offering a range of choices to suit different tastes. All will benefit from a fully fitted kitchen, including integrated stainless steel Bosch appliances, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Bathrooms will be fully fitted with Ideal Standard sanitaryware and Marca Carona floor tiling. Hallways, kitchen and living areas will have oak finished wooden floors and bedrooms will be carpeted. There is also a video entry system for security.

Enterprise Place will be launching on 4th October. For further information or to register your interest, visit Knightfrank.com.
