10th November 2008 Print
On Thursday 30th October, award winning developer Consero Homes opened the doors of its stunning show home at Woodland Drive in Cobham, Surrey to prospective purchasers who were invited to enjoy a day of pampering from a range of exhibitors in beauty, health, fitness and holistic therapy fields.

The event was held in conjunction with beauty specialists Looking Gorgeous as an alternative way of attracting buyers to the development while raising money for Professor Robert Winston’s Women for Women Charity. Each magnificent room of the approximately 5,000sqft property was filled with exhibitors including Looking Gorgeous mineral make up and holistic gifts, hand and nail treatments from handandfootspa.co.uk, personal training advice from wearefit.com and permanent cosmetics from bridgettesoftley.com among others.

Elizabeth Stone, Sales Director of Consero Homes comments: “The aim of the Looking Gorgeous event at Woodland Drive was to enable visitors see the show home in all its glory. The houses are ideal for entertaining as there is so much space for large groups of people to congregate.”

“We were delighted with the overall outcome of the event. It proved to be a great hit with our guests and a good opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.”

Consero Homes has designed the homes at Woodland Drive in Cobham to accommodate such modern requirements. With spacious rooms spread over three floors including private rear gardens and thumb print garage entry, owners will have the opportunity to adapt their new living space according to their needs, over a period of time.

The advantage of purchasing a new home at Woodland Drive is that it provides a blank canvas on which a range of purchasers can create their own living space. The fifth bedroom on the ground floor could easily be used as a study, suitable for city workers who want to spend more time at home; while the three double bedrooms on the first floor are ideal for children of all ages or can even be utilised as fantastic guest rooms. Before you get to the lower ground floor, the drawing room is ideal for meeting and greeting guests over an aperitif, especially with the added option of going onto the balcony overlooking the landscaped garden.

The lower ground floor offers potential purchasers the often neglected luxury of space. The generously proportioned kitchen/breakfast area means there is plenty of room to hone your culinary skills. The designer fitted kitchens include quartz and limestone-honed worktops, as well as the latest Miele appliances such as the two ovens, hob, twin Gaggeneau wine coolers, two large integrated fridge/freezers and dishwasher, designed to provide for the larger family or those who enjoy entertaining. Coupled with the large dining room across the hall, the appeal of playing host is too good to turn down!

The double height glazed atrium accentuates the space of the lower ground floor with the dedicated family area, located adjacent to the kitchen/breakfast area. Meanwhile the media room - complete with hidden storage facility, is the perfect place for a family to retire and enjoy an evening film.

The beautiful countryside surrounding the riverside community of Cobham offers endless sporting and leisure opportunities as well as an excellent range of shops, bars and restaurants. Cobham and Stoke D’Abernon station is within easy reach and offers regular train services into London Waterloo, taking approximately 38 minutes. The A3 provides a fast route to London and the south coastland and links with the M25 at Junction 10. Heathrow is about 30 minutes away and Gatwick about 45 minutes.

The homes at Woodland Drive are priced from £2.295 million.
