New homes at Inspire sell at rate of six a month

Since the start of the year the leading housebuilder has sold 78 properties at the sought-after Surrey location, with customers choosing low-maintenance apartments and houses with no forward chain over homes on the second-hand market.
Tim Betts, Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey West London, says: "While there has been a slowdown in the national property market, Inspire has come up trumps in Wallington.
"From talking to customers it's because our homes offer good value for money, have modern kitchens and bathrooms as standard, and don't need expensive improvements or redecoration before people move in.
"We also provide a wide range of money-saving incentives for customers, from paying the deposit for first-time buyers to helping existing home-owners find a buyer for their old property. Overall, we aim to make moving home simple and to wipe out additional costs - and this is what homebuyers want right now."
Those hoping to make Inspire their home will have to hurry to take advantage of the deals - just eight properties remain for sale at Inspire, including apartments for first-time buyers and downsizers, and spacious three-bedroom homes with garages.
The one-bedroom apartments are available before Christmas from £79,998 and two-bedroom designs from £97,997 under the Government First-Time Buyer Initiative (FTBi), which offers a low-interest loan up covering up to 50% of the price.
Alternatively, the three-storey, three-bedroom ‘Alton' townhouse is priced £124,998, and features attractive balconies to the first-floor living room and to the master bedroom on the top floor and also includes a handy integral garage.
Inspire's close proximity to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants of Wallington - and just 10 miles from Charing Cross - makes homes an attractive prospect for younger buyers and commuters.
Wallington itself boasts a fine array of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, a range of sports facilities and a cinema. The M23 and M25 are a short drive from the development.
