New home has the right formula in Redhill

Just the right chemistry brewed between Clare (26) and John (34) when they met on a broken down bus while backpacking in Peru, but they lived at either ends of the country - Clare was in Edinburgh and John in London.
Eventually Clare moved down to London and the pair set out to find a new home to buy together. The three-bedroom ‘Dale' housetype at the Living @ Park 25 development had all the right elements to create their ideal home.
"It is a lovely location and we have a very large garden. It is a really decent size, so we can have a decking area to enjoy barbecues and another area where we have the vegetable plot," said Clare.
The interior of their new home suits their lifestyle in both day to day living and when the couple's relatives and friends visit from other areas of the country.
"It is the perfect house for the two of us. We have a stunning master bedroom with a massive en-suite - I have never seen a bathroom so big and there is a huge amount of space for wardrobes," said Clare.
"We also have a spare room with its own en-suite, which is great for when guests visit - they can come and stay in comfort."
The couple chose the Living @ Park 25 development to be within commuting distance of both their jobs, but with the countryside on their doorstep.
"We decided on Redhill because there is good motorway access which is a key thing for us, and it is within commutable distance of John's job in Slough and mine in Sutton," said Clare.
The couple also received better value by moving out of the capital.
"We certainly got a lot more for our money than we would have in London and we like being nearer to the countryside," said Clare.
Their move was made smoother by taking advantage of George Wimpey's offer to accepted John's former home in part-exchange for the Redhill house, meaning they did not have to worry about selling his flat before they could move into their new home.
"It worked really well for us. They even packed for us, which made it as stress-free as moving house can be," added Clare.

‘The Dale' offers a superb standard of living for couples or families with two en-suites and two allocated parking spaces. Priced from £279,995, the home features a large living/dining room, which opens up through French doors into the private garden, with a separate kitchen and guest cloakroom.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite and the other able to make use of the family bathroom next door and on the top floor is the master bedroom with its large en-suite including bath and separate walk-in shower.
George Wimpey's easymover programme provides a range of special incentives on selected properties for first-time buyers while customers like Clare and John who had a house to sell, can reserve their new home and then sit back and relax while the housebuilder finds a buyer for their current property - guaranteeing 100% of the market value - and pays the estate agents' fees.
Homebuyers can also take advantage of the House 2 Home bespoke moving package comprising free UK removal regardless of distance or size of property, full packing service and insurance cover.
Living @ Park 25 is close to the shops, restaurants, pubs and leisure amenities of Redhill, a lively town in its own right, yet small enough to really get to know.
There is a weekly market and the Belfry Shopping Centre offers a great range of high street stores and numerous cafes. Centrale Shopping Centre, just 10 miles away in Croydon, provides an even bigger array of outlets.
For children, there are good schools for all ages nearby, while commuters will appreciate Redhill Station is a short walk from the development, offering regular, 35-minute services to London Victoria, and 30-minute services to Guildford, while Junction 8 of the M25 is less than five miles away. For those heading abroad, Gatwick Airport is seven miles from the development.
