Mayford Grange is taking shape

Mayford Grange is the type of Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) the government has been heralding. The development, exclusively for the over 65s, will offer residents an ethos dubbed ‘optimum independence’ – as much independence as possible while providing domestic and care support if necessary.
The village will comprise 46 private apartments grouped around landscaped courtyards with connected walkways leading to the heart of the village and the Country Club. Communal facilities will include a restaurant, coffee shop, lounge and garden room, library and computer area, function room, hair salon and convenience shop.
Building work on phase one on the four acre site adjacent to Sutton Green Golf Course in the village of Mayford, outside Woking, is well underway with a show apartment opening at Easter.
“We are delighted with the level of interest at Mayford Grange,” said Sales and Marketing Director Sarah Burgess. “We are very excited about the development which represents a new concept in retirement living.
”From a business point of view Retirement Villages is working closely with a number of local suppliers. It is important for us as a company to be involved in and with the local community to build an on-going, long term relationship with groups, businesses and individuals.”
A number of properties have been released for sale with prices starting at £280,000 for a two bedroom, second floor apartment with master bedroom, en suite and built in wardrobe.
One bedroom apartments will be available on future phases for completion this Autumn.
The Sales and Marketing Suite is open Thursday to Monday 10.30am – 5pm. For more information visit the website - Retirementvillages.co.uk.
